Hi OnTrial,

Why does it seem your position sizing is different for the above 2 trades?

Which money management model are you using?

And why is this thread called the billion dollar club. Do you want to turn your $100k into a billion dollars?

That would take about 40 years if you can make 25%p.a. with re-investment of profits. I hope you will live that long =)

You are right Nizar... the position sizing is different for the two positions. FAB TEAM's position sizing module is kind of dynamic, and takes a number of factors into account, not just account size and %age at risk.

It's called the billion dollar club, because I want to use it as a 'proof of concept' resume for breaking into the billion dollar fund management business :p.

Oh i see.

Is this system a short-term one or a long-term one?

How many trades a year do you expect to be doing?

Yes I think this will be a good start to record your trades on this forum. From what I can tell so far, there are a few big players here and a few Hedge fund guys.

I keep a blog for the same purpose.

But I hear you need audited results from a top accounting firm before anybody will take you seriously.

One step at a time i guess.
I hope it all goes well.

Trades will typically last from two days to ten days, with most lasting about five days. I can't predict the number of trades per time period because that depends on prevailing market conditions.

About audited accounts... I'm not thinking of starting my own fund. But I would very much like to work with an established fund that will consider another channel for extracting profits from the market. I shouldn't need audited accounts for that, as long as I can prove I have a robust system... and that's what this blog is all about :).

Interesting blog you have there. I did think of starting one...

The Bench

I am going to introduce the concept of a bench (of substitute players). This will comprise stocks from the squad that otherwise qualify for selection but do not meet the liquidity requirement earlier stated. I will also include stocks whose performance I want to observe, but do not want to include in the team. Stocks under observation will be highlighted.

Individual performance of players on the bench will be reported, but will not contribute to the P&L Account.
