President Biden’s approval rating in his first days in office is higher than Donald Trump ever achieved during his four years as president, two new polls have found.

A Morning Consult tracking poll published Monday found that 56 percent of voters approve of Biden’s job performance, while 34 percent disapprove. At the same early juncture of Trump’s presidency, 46 percent of Americans polled said they approved of his job performance, and the polling high point for his term in office came in March 2017, when his approval rating hit 52 percent.

A second poll, conducted by Hill-HarrisX and also released on Monday, put Biden’s approval rating at 63 percent, while 37 percent said they disapprove of the job he was doing so far. Trump, by contrast, reached an approval rating high of 52 percent in an April 2020 survey by the same pollster.

President Biden finished his first week in the White House with a near-56% job approval, suggesting a majority of people are pleased with his low-key governance compared to former President Donald Trump's provocative populism.

Biden’s job approval stood at 55.7% in the RealClearPolitics average Friday afternoon, with five of six surveys taken since the Jan. 20 inauguration showing the Democrat above 50%. Just one poll, from Rasmussen, had the new president below, albeit still in positive territory — at 49%.

Biden’s initial strong job approval, well above Trump’s mid-40s, first-week average, comes despite questions about the efficacy of his plan to defeat the coronavirus and uncertainty about the pandemic relief plan he submitted to Congress.

Mainstream Presidential polls are not credible because have been discredited again in 2020, not just in 2016.

Mainstream polls are an attempt to manipulate public opinion by relying on the psychological need of many people to feel they are part of a popular or perceived “Winning” group. It has been estimated that fake polls give the beneficiary a 200 to 300 basis point advantage over the harmed party. Polls usually benefit the mainstream and deep state favorite, especially when it comes to the Presidency.

Personally, i measure Presidential performance on the net positive things they have accomplished, not on what some polling company says what other people have said, aka, here-say.

As shown by my informal poll associated with this thread, I have no issue taking the unpopular side, Biden’s side, even though I am a Trump supporter. Again, if Biden performs well, the United States is likely to perform well, potentially benefitting most or all of us.

Ethics, truth, and professional journalism matters. Lies, manipulations, errors of omission, polls, and propaganda are ultimately counterproductive because people tend to not believe “Official” sources even on accurate information. After all, if things are going so well, why does the media feel compelled to lie and distort? The record of their ”Preferred” politician should speak for itself, right?

There are still some people who are able to think for themselves and not allow themselves to be manipulated by fake polls. At least to a degree.

How about you?

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President Donald Trump's prospects of winning a second term in office will be closely tied to the level of his job approval rating. Historically, all incumbents with an approval rating of 50% or higher have won reelection, and presidents with approval ratings much lower than 50% have lost.

I knew and told you prior to the election Trump was a 1 term president based on polls so I'm good with the polls.

Votes on the above polls are changeable indefinitely. I am reaffirming my above average assessment. While I’m not happy about the strike on Syria, the reasons behind the strike are still under review. The economy is performing well with a positive outlook. Personally, I place the greatest weight of an administration’s performance on the economy because it is through good economic performance that government can govern to the benefit of most people, regardless of their political affiliation.

Should the Biden Administration preside over a booming economy along with reducing the Federal debt to GNP ratio, an “Elite” rating would be in play, even allowing some debasement of our currency. However, should the Biden Administration become unfriendly towards businesses to the point of creating capital outflows, interest rates will likely rise faster and our economy will suffer. Hopefully, the Biden Administration does not become a serial war starter or start curtailing our Constitutional rights.
