I really do not know how I can help you because I don not know you... maybe you can start a thread 'Daniel is going to learn Wwatson1 to trade' and start from there and see how far we could go? I mean, if you have all ready 14 years under your belt, what is a few months more?How are you going to help?
@GloriaBrown just out of curiosity, what exactly is the purpose of this thread? With all the names going around, there is no real proof of what their PnL looks week after week, month after month or year after year. Some that do call out good trades (not very many of those remaining though) don't call out every single trade of theirs and so the legitimacy of who is and who isn't goes down the drain. In saying that, I'm sure that some of the callers are truly successful, but not all. So once you have distinguished from the "are" and "are not", what then?
Without putting out names, there are a couple of "educators" (who's names may have been mentioned here) on ET that post many, many times a day to establish "credibility". In return, they will charge $1-5k for "mentoring". The question this poses is:
i) "Where the heck do you find time to allow for all these posts?". Should they not be challenging themselves to getting bigger and better every single moment? And that, my friend, requires a great deal of concentration!
ii) If one is successful in his trading, than taking on "students" for a measly few grand to "follow" you is nothing but a great distraction. Good traders will make 3-4 times that amount in a day, if not more.
The 2 points (and there are many more) in themselves, answer @JTrades point.

I'm going to answer to the thread here assuming that the question was for a beneficial purpose (following their posts, asking for mentorship, which most wouldn't charge for if accepted, as it would be negligible, or trying to break their "secret" code of success) and the "celebrities" have been distinguished as to being successful.
For me, I have no votes for best traders. This is because, to me, a good trader isn't the one that makes the most money, has the most posts or has a few "live" call outs. My definition of a good trader is the one that has the canny ability to read the markets/charts, the one that recognizes that they are on the wrong side the fastest, the one that has the ability to mentally take the opposite side of the initial trade within seconds, the one that can get so big (almost institutional), that getting their positions filled 100% requires skill or the one that finds multiple opportunities and manages them one along side the other with great finesse! To them, money (PnL, dollar amount or whatever you may call it) is not the objective; it's all about the game!.
My break came via a very generous and gracious lady. I had started my journey about the same time as her, but I was a part-timer then. Her mistakes, mindset, dedication, persistence, trading style etc reflected mine in such closeness, that it was a little unreal. What this did for me was to grab onto her "coattail" as this was helping me progress faster. However, with time, our paths started parting as our trading was getting more detailed and started reflecting our personalities. I still continued following her and picking whatever little "nuggets" I could find. She was a very generous contributor and from all the various "lines she casted", there was one that I took the bait off and that is when I started my career as a "professional".
It wasn't easy, as the "bait" had to be dissected. I spent 9 straight months, working 16-18 hours a day, 6 days a week to decode this through tears, trial and tribulation. From then onward, it was only about being the best I could be.
So if I really had to give anyone that vote, I would give it to that very generous and gracious lady that went along here by the name of @NoDoji
