true, but you omit that the metric by which most traders, especially "professional traders" , are judged is inherently flawed:

It does not matter what pnl you generated over a lifetime but it matters what cash flow you extracted out of this venture. Think about a top tier trader, he may have made 50-100 million each year for his bank for 10 years straight, the next year he almost bankrupts the bank (happened numerous times in fact), his historical track record on average may now be net negative, yet he lived an incredibly luxurious life style and may have tens of millions in his own personal bank account. I have worked for more than a decade on the sell side and hedge fund side and have witnessed several such stories. I can tell you that I completely ignore and actively listen away when traders talk about performance metrics without mentioning risk-adjusted returns because any discussion about returns without the inclusion of how much risk was taken to generate such returns is totally useless.

But I agree with all your other points. To put it bluntly, even with 10k/month you can live a satisfied (not royal) lifestyle with as much pussy as you ever wished in places like Thailand, the Philippines, or elsewhere), it more comes down to a discussion with whom you wanna associate with. If you wanna associate with the Upper West Side folks then several million a year at the very least is required, if you are happy to hang out at some seedy bars in Phuket and pickup desperate chicks (many of which are most likely hooked on Shabu (aka Crystal Meth) then 10k/month gives you that. All comes down to personal preferences. I picked a life style somewhere in the middle.

That is total bollocks. I have lived in Japan for over 12 years and I can tell you that hardly any house wife makes money these days. Every now and then when equity markets are hyped up again by some crazy politician (who choses to ignore the highest debt level of any industrialized country in favor of hyping up equity markets in the misguided belief that will put money into the pockets of those who need it most urgently because big corporate players are allowed in Japan to replace every single full-time employee with temp and part time staff)...

...and housewives jump on the bandwagon but other than that the times of the fx or stock "gambling" housewives are over.

May I correct you:

This start from 3 000$/month for the most "modest" room ( 142 sq ft).
With limousine, bentleys and private plane if you so wish ( around 2000$ addition).
Also, the Ladies - fewer here than in the West are into hooking , aka , have a "Daddy" on the side even unbeknown to the "bait" - here
are completely decent, well educated, emotionally and psychology "sorted", and keep their legs closed for the "one".
"as much as pussy" : many here are learning the real "power" of sex - and not to waste it.
