I had one like this in the early 90's. When I went on wintersports, each morning at breakfast I watched the market. Most people in the hotel had no clue what this thing was.

In the 80' and 90' I used to code market forecasting models using these:
On the TI-99 (first pic), I had to save the code with a tape recorder on a 4 track cassette.

And I bet you remember the smell in the air when sitting in front of them. It smelled like "tech"
right.
Many people have problems doing just ONE thing (unable to concentrate totally on trading and trading only).
So they ended up doing MULTI-TASKING
claiming that they are very efficient / productive.
