The best educational book or website which explain how the Dow Jones works

Hi Guys

I am after a in dept book or website which explains what make the Dow Jones 30 move up and down, I am still confused when all the stocks are in the green but the Dow Jones is moving down and stay down.

You need to analyze each instrument you are going to trade independantly. Each has its dynamics. In this case you will not make mistake. Some stocks are good to trade today, some are tomorrow.

If all the Dow stocks are green, the DJIA will be green as well.

Can you give an example? If all stocks are up the Dow is up because it's an index.
