I have been in the business for almost 10 years and I even have someone I look up to, he was my mentor. He has 35 years experience in the business. I think it is good to have someone to bounce ideas or systems off of. To this day, he still points out mistakes that I make at times, it healthy.

My question is, why aren't you successful after 3 years? If its fear, I can't help you there.

EDIT: I just read your previous post, why can't you devlop your own strategy?

It's been 6 years actually and I am profitable although not making $1MM/year.

I don't have the time nor desire to develop my own system if I can purchase one that's a proven winner. It's a simple make or buy decision--you know, the stuff they teach you in the first semester in B school.

LOL, although he can't see what I'm posting (because he has me on ignore ... :p ) he can't break $10,000 and hold it, much less make $1mm a year.

He obviously doesn't have a system, however you can still continue to engage him in rationale discussion if you want to.

Can you give a brief description of your current system?

Up the size of your current system if you want to make a mil a year.

After reading a random sample of forums, I did take a proactive approach and sent PM to people who I thought could be helpful. Most were and the few that weren't were professional and respectful. Only one was a cockyass joker who obviously didn't fit the bill; and in further reading of his posts, I should have known better.

My thanks to all of you.

LOL allenhobbs, you're a multi-alias nutbag.

Nobody in their right mind would sell you a system that doesn't work, much less one that does.

Just admit you're a failure and move one with your life, it's easy, ex-traders do it every day.

after few PMs with OP, I got out of the deal

out of fear that OP may try to reverse my trading by acquiring my detailed timestamps

also OP doesn't seem to know how money exchange for this deal would go about

when I suggested a lawyer to hold money until training done, OP ignored that idea

I am curious, how would payment be made

His forte is 1 to 3 lots on the ES. He uses the GuessTrade system for his entries with a fixed amount for the profit and loss targes.

It only works for him up to 4 lots ... then he gets blown-out, because he has an inverse risk:reward ratio.

LOL man I told you.

He doesn't want to make an honest exchange ... he wants to steal what you have.

For the most part, I fade price exhaustion.

I'm not comfortable increasing my current position size. Thus, I seek another proven method to complement the current one.
