The Bern Ultimatimum: 2020

1. I agree with your point.
not so sure about that image though.

The World has to move past these Identity Poltics. We are all human beings that evolved color (features) in different ways, mostly to deal with local weather. We pass on those advantageous hereditary features on to our offspring. Sadly, this is a trend (re-racialized and re-sexed) that is resurfacing again the world over.

Here is what Jesus very likely looked like:

I see your logic, and it is backed up by fact as the link below shows. I must say I am confused: In one sentence you say we have to move past identity politics. In the next you go back to it.

This kind of abuse of racial statistics has been manipulated for gain for as long as I can remember. When it is convenient to gather around all the white people to form a majority, that is what is done. When it is advantageous to break that white majority some other way, that is what is done. It is just wrong. We all know it is wrong intellectually. But emotionally, we can't seem to escape racial bias. And, it is not just us-to-them, it is also them-to-us!!!!

Not to be repetitive, I am not saying there isn't logic in your statement. Just that you have not moved past identity politics yourself. It is none of my business what you think as I am not the thought police. But it does matter when we are making policy together that affects us all.

How is me pointing out democrats using identity politics considered "me going back" to identity politics.

It's like calling me a racist for calling a black guy a racist. It's simply not true.

Ok, I'll break it down.

  1. You posted a link urging us to check out candidates
  2. I followed it and noticed every single candidate was a minority
  3. I then pointed it out to you
  4. You said we need to move past identity politics
  5. I agreed
  6. You then said I didn't move past identity politics because I was pointing out that you(or rather your party) hasnt.
  7. I responded by trying to explain that I was just pointing it out and tried to give an analogy(that perhaps I should've put more thought into), but I thought you'd get what I was saying anyway.
  8. You got confused and here we are.

Now I get it. I agree that the Democrats play the race card way too often. But I am not naive enough to believe that this is an ailment that only affects Democrats.

The Democrats abuse (leverage) race once every four years. The Republicans are obsessed with it every waking moment. Race, and bathroom stalls.

I can already hear his campaign catch phrase.... "Vote for me if you want everything for free".
Here is some points on social entitlements vs corporate entitlements (Crony Capitalism and State Fascism):

And in Bernie's own words:

Socialism has never worked and it never will. Why do we have to keep trying over and over again failed system of government the worst for the majority of people? Are people incapable of learning from history?

Socialism is utopia.

When were republicans ever obsessed about race? Literally I have no idea what you are talking about. Republicans think people should get employed based on their qualifications. Democrats think they should get employed based on their skin color. If you think affirmative action isn't the most racist policy in America right now, reverse it. Imagine that if you had a black and white person applying for a job and the government said you have to employ the white people first.
