The Bern didn't say Free Trade is all bad. He says Fair Trade is what matters. Each trade agreement has to be read carefully for fairness. It is what Trump is saying also. Besides, for the first 10 years, it will all be one way. USA=>Cuba since Cuba has nothing to give right now, except a very literate people.
As I have stated before, Cuba does not want to turn itself into the old Cuba that was basically corrupt and the playground of the USA. What Cuba needs to do is turn itself into Singapore or Israel.
Slowly, but surely...
And I'm sure that the criminally corrupt, oppressive regime will just roll over at set the people free to do their own thing. There will be blood. Lots of it. Tyrants don't go down easy, and their replacements usually aren't much better. How many times must we learn this lesson?

That's the projected cost (more or less, estimates vary a bit) of what he promised to his followers. The money has to come from somewhere, eg, new taxes/fees/surcharges etc. Remember the old saying: if you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always depend on Paul's support.
