The beginning of the end for Venezuela and his socialist revolution

Quote from acronym:

When was the last time, a currency revaluation actually worked?
As in , doing more than just stall a financial crisis?

Socialists, its all-ways with the "revolution", why is that?
It can't just be "a few policy changes in the interets of equity and fairness", no, it has to be a "revolution".

WHAT is revolutionary about it? It's not like its original.

"Rule by decree" and " socialist revolution " are not words that belong in the same sentence.

Same goes for "agrarian state" and "socialist revolution" but they do it all over the world.

Hitler prospered because he stole the wealth of the upper middle class for one thing. Hey, wasn't this about Hugo Chavez... same story different country?

If the landowners got their land by stealing it from the mestizos it does not logically follow that the mestizos will prosper by having it stolen back. I'm guessing, and it is just a pure guess, based on 100 years of socialist history, that Chavez and company will be the ones that prosper, just a pure guess of course.

Quote from TorontoTrader2:

If the country didn't have oil, would anyone really care?

EXACTLY!

US politicians & media have been vilifying Venezuela & Chavez for almost 10 years. Same old tune each time.

The rules of the game are simple, if you do not let US come in and take your resources, you are on its sh*t list. Same old game and the same old propaganda. And it is always United States leading the critcisms, legit or frivilous.

Still does not stop most of the masses easily falling for it. It's not even a problem anymore when a semi-retard gets elected in this country, lies nonstop then gets re-elected.

It does not work, unless you are changing a fiat into a hard currency, or at least a proper peg. Only way the ruble was made stable was by properly pegging it.

But it's not always a pre-requisite to a financial crisis, sometimes nations change currencies without any significant change.

I doubt the Venezuelan economy will collapse earlier than the US Economy. Socialism, if properly implemented, is always superiour and more durable as American style capitalism.

Now, that's heavy.

NO. And your point is???

Gee Americans look after their own self-interest first, what an outrage!!!!
Germans fucked up their weaker neighbors few times in history, Russians had been ripping off weaker neighbors up until 1989(40 years!!!!), Spanish practically wiped out a civilization

If you want to study socialism in it's purest form, I recommend to study the way Hitler managed the German economy from 1933 to 1939. Seriously, whether you love him or hate him, I tell you that building up the war machine was not the reason for the blossoming of his economy.

WAKE-UP can you see your own stupidity??

How many have to die before it makes a difference? 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000??????

Then why make such a big deal about Palestine?? There are only a handful of dead Palestinians every year so why do you care?

It's funny how ignorant you are.

Quote from WAKE-UP:

The 1000 Jews and communists who where kept in Dachau before 1940 didn't really make much of a difference.

In the first years after the war there was much eyewitness testimony about "mass gassings" at Dachau. In his summing up for the prosecution at Nuremberg, Sir Hartley Shawcross, chief prosecutor for Great Britain, spoke of murder "conducted like some mass production industry in the gas chamber (s) of... Dachau..."

Today no responsible scholar attempts to claim that there were mass gassings at Dachau. Rabbi Marvin Heir, dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies, states simply: "There were no gas chambers at Dachau."
