The second greatest options trader is Karen the Supertrader. Karen is a little misunderstood by some of you pups, but ol' gal made some change during her trading time. Some of you became instant lawyers when some SEC stuff came out. I'm sure your analysis was spot on!
The thing that Karen did not have is my knowledge regarding hedging. I do something similar to Karen with a couple of exceptions. I don't sell calls. In a raging bull market, why should I? I love the skew in puts, and it allows me to make more money. So, I sell puts and then I place hedges along the way to protect the portfolio. How does this work in 2020? Quite well. Thanks for asking! That's why the portfolio up well over 200% for the year.
Happy trading and Happy father's day to you dads out there!
