Trust me, Stewart was always more partisan than Colbert...... Stewart drew the path for Colbert.
John Oliver was super funny at first too, but in the age of Trump hes just decided to turn into a full blown activist as well.
I mostly just watch "real comedians" doing standup shows on netflix if i wanna laugh now, all these other asshats on cable made a clear decision to become activists and kiss off half their audience.
If i got to choose between Chapelle, and Colbert, the choice is pretty easy.
These guys are shooting themselves in the dick, i just got this chromecast thing i can plug into my t.v. and play anything off the internet, so i can eliminate cable, there is no point in paying money watching people virtue signal all day.
Its not like i need CNBC to get me up to date news..... I have 4 different news services that beat CNBC every time........ lol...... So i just cut the chord, cable has become totally fucking useless, anything worth watching you will hear of at some point, its not worth the money for cable anymore.

Watch the Hassan Minhaj (spelling?) show in Netflix. It's pretty funny, serious, apolitical, and completely true about the south Asian immigrant experience in the US.
