The Arizona "Audit"

The "Arizona Audit" clowns claim they are using RStudio for computer forensics. RStudio is NOT a computer forensics tool that is used to do a deep forensics evaluation.

In fact, RStudio would never be recommended for forensics use in any type of law enforcement or investigation situation. Using RStudio -- which is not designed for supporting chain of custody, image creation with proper attribution, or most other functionality of proper computer forensics tools -- would undermine the entire investigation.
Let's let this play out. The results of this audit are not known yet and really can't be accurately commented on.

Total bullshit.

So, you are telling me that machine learning algorithms are cannot be used for forensics?

Do you know anything about R or Python? I thought you were a programmer.

You better go and tell all of WallStreet and every bank ine US that Python and/or R cannot be used to detect fraud.

Do you know anything about machine learning?

You better go do a Google search on tools used by law enforcement for computer forensics to properly educate yourself.

Using an IDE tool that can alter the existing files and data on a computer without attribution simply does not cut it for proper computer forensics practices.

Total bullshit.

My previous next door neighbor has a company that sell programs to law enforcement specifically for computer forensics. I know a ton about it. He has sold his software to some of the biggest law firms and police departments.

BTW - He writes the programs in a well known computer language using a well know IDE that I regularly use.

Can R and Python be used for fraud detection?

Anyways. Can fraud detection be consider part of a forensic audit?

10 The most superficial show of "investigation."
20 Claim the presence of discrepancies without evidence.
30 Hope claims are not challenged.
40 If claims are challenged, walk back claims.
50 GOTO 20

To state that R cannot be used for fraud detection demonstrates total and complete ignorance.

He's less of a programmer than you might think.

Can machine learning algorithms be used for fraud detection?

I no longer believe that you are a programmer.

Let me just state you are shoveling such incredible bullshiat --- that it is not even worthy time for a discussion.

Go use Google and educate yourself in the proper tools and requirements for computer forensics then get back to us.
