True but then again, the combined GDP of Egypt and Jordan is virtually equal to Israel's GDP so as a percentage of their corresponding GDPs our aid is also virtually identical. Don't forget that one dollar will buy you 10 times more goods and services in Cairo than in Tel-Aviv. None of these comparisons is meaningful anyway, I just wanted to correct the moron who was claiming that Israel is getting 10 billion and the arabs are getting nothing.

We give $$$$$$$$$ to Egypt and Jordan so that they stay neutral in the conflict between Israel and Palestinians. It is basically a hash money that was promised to them by US to stay out and keep their mounts shut. So one can argue that is costing us 3 billion a year to Israelis + additional $2.5 billion to Egypt and Jordan not to attack Israel and not to support Palestine. Total cost = $5.5 billion/year
