The moves in grains are real and this is absolutely the best place to be in the market right now in terms of fresh price action. Grains have been dead for a long time and now are wide awake. Also I don't hear much chatter about them anywhere. Everyone I guess is too busy trying to sell the top tick in the spoos.

corn 30d +22 5d +8
wheat 30d +21 5d +8
beans 30d +16 5d +4

yday was nice intraday failed a down to get long against to ride into close.

I am surprised rt5909 has not posted about the Grain action. Maybe he's keeping quiet for a reason :-)

My vol indicator went off today. As in sell risk assets and get long vol.

Glad to see your indicator confirming.

I was really debating on getting long vol through vix futures or just simply buying VXX right before the close today, but I was thinking we might get a little push back up tomorrow. I'm hoping we open up a bit in the morning and I will be looking to enter something.

Keep in mind my number lines are still confirmed so I still see this as more of a exit longs then getting short situation.
