Welcome to the thread.

You will find that 700 pages is not as long as it seems, because many posts are related to stuff like you see on this page and can be skipped. You will only need to look at posts that actually discuss ACD.

And BTW, it will definitely be worth your while. The book is a foundation and gives you the concept. What has been done here takes it far beyond the basics.
 
I should further add that in settings you can change the number of posts you view per page that actually reduces the total number of pages by like 70%. It makes it easier to read then having to keep clicking next page. It really does go fast.

I cannot find where that setting is, could you please point it out?

I do remember a few years back one could add onto a page's url a term like &99 and all subsequent pages would load as a single page. Does that still work?
