All about mathematics...this is one of two charts I use to capture swings in my forecast. The other chart shows swings as well. You folks have a great thread and if the market wasn't so boring today I probably wouldn't upload this file. The ACD approach is an excellent way to assess and analyze market conditions. I have no desire to take away from what you are doing

The final leg up?
Yeah, based on the historical patterns, the avg length of a bull market and credit cycle contraction. The selloff we had this fall was a perfect setup to create a possible parabolic blowoff top that usually plays out within 6 months of the last correction in the bull market move.
And this is 8 months old.....

This makes me a little more confident in my decision to sell off chunks of my portfolio with each leg up this year.
