The ACD Method

Remember I use the London session for all FX pairs because I do a lot of relative value analysis. So there were a lot of days where the Aussie may have tanked in the evening and generated a neutral or positive value later in the session.

Hi Mav,

If you don't mind me asking...what time do you use for the London open and since fx is 24 hours...what is your cut-off for when the session ends?

Does anyone use Think or Swim platform for ACD? I know Maverick74 had his programmed to show levels and was wondering if anyone else did that as well.

Many thanks to you Maverick74 for providing such insight on this topic. You have alway been helpful and created impressive value added contributions to this board.

I'm trying to plot mine but they're not ideal yet since I'm not too good with codes

My London open starts at 2am central time which should equate to 8am London time.

I cutoff at the US close. So I capture the tail end of Japan, all of London and all of US hours.

This AUD/USD is an interesting trade here. Meant to post this as it bounced off the monthly A down. It's in a 30 day confirm to the buy side.
I don't have confirmation in AUDUSD, but silver has some good numberlines for me so I bought some today. So I guess it is a very similar trade just differently expressed. Are you bullish on silver too?

energy number lines and levels in general improving a good bit. looks like it may hint at the direction out of this chop. Just a note on grains...big WASDE report out today and corn and wheat really moving higher....interesting to note that number lines going flat...resets on the way, but when grains reset they typically chop quite a bit...which is interesting because corn is re-setting after being IN chop for a month now. Take that as you will...

also good to look at some intermarkets today in both energies and grains....some definite shifts coming for the next few weeks. looking specifically at heating oil and wheat as rotational trades

Edit to say: wheat vs corn and heating oil vs rb and cl
