The ACD Method

Nope. No longer live in the Chicago area. I did the meetings for 8 years so I think I covered just about everything. :)

BLAST!!! Knew it wouldn't last forever. Had no idea you did it that long, though. WOW!

157.84 and 161.68

It bounced 9 times off the QTR A down at 159.30!

What are your thoughts on GBPUSD or FX land right now...my number lines show that GBP is the weakest along with AUD.

Purchased, read and have traded this method developed by Mark B. Fisher from his book titled: The Logical Trader: Applying a Method to the Madness.
It made since to me which is why I use it to trade with. Wasn't very successful though, but I believe this is due to several factors: (1) my broker - not having the time to trade the way the method is suppose to; (2) I think he has too many accounts to follow, (3) he was more interested in trading the ES market and I tend to follow the grains.
Any body else use it or know of it? Successful or not? Thoughts about the method?
I'm thinking I might have better result if I make my own trading decisions and begin trading online.

Thanks.

First of all, how do you calculate the value of A, C, D since it is never revealed in the book??

The author even wrote "These variables are based on our own proprietary research, the process of which I won't share with you except to say that the ACD values are based on the volatility measurements of a particular stock"

There is no short cut here if you really want to understand the how, why and wherefore.

This has been extensively discussed in the first 450 to 500 pages of this thread. Read them and you will find enough to get started. It is not as difficult as it sounds, you can skip all the short posts calling trades.

Still love USD/JPY. Trying to confirm a monthly A up here. EUR/CAD bouncing nicely off that monthly A down.

Yeah cable is cracking. That confirmed on my number line some time back as I mentioned previously. AUD also cracking. The Yen complex is by far the most interesting right now and should be watched very closely.
