The ACD Method

Quote from justrading:

Mav, if it is convenient could you list the major currency crosses you think worth trading? A couple of years back you posted a list, which if memory serves, was basically the 6 majors but all crosses only against the 4 non-commodity currencies. That would leave out for example AUD/CAD.

I follow and track 15 pairs now:

USD/JPY EUR/AUD GBP/JPY EUR/JPY AUD/JPY EUR/GBP GBP/USD USD/MXN EUR/USD AUD/USD EUR/CAD GBP/AUD USD/TRY GBP/CAD CAD/JPY DX

How is he blowing his style? His views on crude are long term and a very broad statement. How he is actually going about expressing that view he has not stated. How do you know he doesn't have a level here? I bought natty yesterday. Was I bottom picking? No, I bought a failed monthly A down on a neutral number line. But to an outsider it looks like I'm simply trying to pick a bottom.

Nice follow through on this failed A down in Natty.

we will quote you on that..

Ok, we know what his target is on the crude long, what would his stop loss be? Since he cuts losers short fast. 92 ? 91 ? 90 ?

How do you know he is not in an option or a spread? I don't get what all the animosity is about here. The guy rarely does TV and when he does, he doesn't need a grand inquisition about the trades he mentions. He really provided very little info. For all you know he is not even in the trade. I think he said something about waiting till after option expiration.

I was going to mention last night when I was going through my spreadsheets that almost every stock I track had a sell signal yet the ES was a buy. This looked awfully suspicious to me. I'm not joking either, like 45 out of 50 stocks were confirmed to the downside! This is where tracking the data really pays off.

Hello Mav,

If it's not too much of a pain, perhaps you could post the symbols. I would enjoy following these stock myself and perhaps adding a comment now and then down the line.

Thanks for the great coaching, coach.

Mav has already contributed enough...please don't ask him for his personal list of stocks. Do some work yourself.
