Yes I get that, been tracking the major pairs since last year. Tokyo actually starts at 7:00 pm EST. Links for everyone's reference.
 
in the book it doesn't look like he includes candle wicks in his opening range calcuations.. is that right? typically they are included in other methods..

I don't recall anything to that effect, and take high/low for period as OR.

Just to clarify, since the clocks moved forward in the US, Tokyo now opens at 8:00pm eastern, and back to 7:00pm in the fall.

I don't have this hassle since Tokyo is straight +2 on Bangkok, though I have enough headaches adjusting for Europe and the States.

If you have a world clock app on your smartphone, just remember that Tokyo opens at 9:00am local.

working on a a script in amibroker.. to chart ACD.. i've found a basic script for the opening range and pivet range.. but theres a 30 day look back , and some other nuances that i'm reading further about to incorporate
