The ACD Method

Thanks for the feedback Quon, I guess I'm not being clear. This may be in part because I've modified Fisher's method. I use the ATR of the OR for each time frame I'm looking at. Rather than use 20 - 25% of the daily ATR for the daily A I use a multiplyer on the OR ATR. The methods are generally fairly close to one another, but by using the OR ATR my A values are much more sensitive to changes in volatility and experience shows they are quite accurate.

Interesting to be sure. Not sure if I can speak on what you're offering up. Maybe someone else has thoughts?

But I like the idea you're throwing out. Something new for sure!

How did you like that reversal in natty today? That thing is a beast.

Yeah right? Between that and US Steel...

Also, JPM, looking good. Weekly A up

We got some action in SWN, a Joe Terranova favorite. Someone bought 3k risk reversals in the Jan 2014 strikes today. Also moving above the monthly A up here. This is also a nat gas play.

Follow up to this SWN call last week. Joe T gets the credit on this one.

This market has acted very well in the last several days and we have held some key levels. Todays pop into the close was pretty impressive !

Here's a sector that I haven't heard many people talk about and it is the Regional banks...look at KRE. This thing has jumped like 15 places in all my numberlines in the past 4-5 days. 27 is a key level and the quarter. obviously new quarter and month next week so would watch this one for some leadership!

Along the same line, my XLF number line has been fantastic. I'm seeing strength in the 30 day and the 5 day lines, (which is just what I like to see). In addition, (and this one surprised me) the +4 day today put my 30 day line in the SPY at +13 and the 5 day at +7. Seems like something positive could be developing.
