if you are honest the binaryness (is that a word) of earnings plays will kill you. I would say on balance market makers have won vs retail when it comes to earnings plays due to vol collapse.

That's the level I was looking at. Reminiscent of last Tuesday's end of day set up into Wed's weekly A up confirmation.

Completely agree. Have a feeling we don't even get the highs of the AAPL pop after the open, (though I'm very happy to be wrong on this).

Yes it did, and it made my month! Was not looking good for January until this one.

I was always told "intuition is what separates great traders from good traders".

I have to say that after AAPL mind blowing #'s and yesterday's strength I did expect this mkt to be up!
