Why i stay clear of ES etc.. since ACD is my trading method. Oil baby Oil.

ES had a perfect failed A up to the tick and traded straight to the A down 10 handles to the tick. That is a great trade. I think ACD trades perfectly with ES, but again, you have to modify your A levels and opening range to reflect the product you are trading.

Interesting. It is kinda relative, but I also had a failed a up that ran to the a down. Failed there too, (you could get long - I'm not, but you could give it another shot). I think all the things I look at seem to work well for ACD that I've noticed anyway.
just gotta use those STOPS

Would like to learn about volume profile with ES ? Where do I begin ?
Thanks

15 minutes OR starting 9.30. I like CL 200 ticks moves even on slowest days like last week when volume was like 130,000 cars/day.
Also, once a trader get used to pace of CL it is tough to adjust to ES pace. I rely heavily on volume bars and ES volume bars are tough to gauge as it is a very THICK and heavily traded instrument.
250, 000 cars for cl and 1.3 million for es on average. I can identify volume bars better with CL.
And when the risk trade is ON, i want to trade instrument which i trade every trade as trading opportunities every where ES, TF, GC, CL etc.. My skill sets only allows me to FOCUS on one instrument at a time. CL hit 102.80 around 10.30 am and one need lot of FOCUS to trade since then - long or short.

Yeah but how many lots are you trading of CL at a time. For every one lot of CL, you can trade 5 ES. So that you get the same 200 tick moves in ES as CL. Trust me, over the years I have done all the math on this stuff. It's all the same.
