The ACD Method

Quote from Shanb:

Ideally would the trade trigger be the A-up of the actual spread or the Asset your targeting(XHB)?

Charts look good btw

bump...curious about this

Do I have to lay out all my "secrets" on here? :)

I see how it is !

JK, i'm just curious about what you have been working on in that basement as of late ;)

Gold and Silver had a bit of a reversal today...with silver showing more strength. These things were so oversold a bounce was inevitable. Looked like some capitulation...definately going to be watching these next month/year.

We missed one decent spread this month...SLV-GLD. Spread came in quite a bit today. I would attach a pic but I don't have access to my computer. Maybe Mav could help!

Here is the YTD on Silver over Gold. Got absolutely crushed all year.

BTW, the QTR A down for Silver futures is 25.72. The low today was 26.14. A successful test of the QTR A down. Again, I use the QTR levels as long term targets and once again, they don't disappoint. We had this level back in Oct.

How about homebuilders over oil. XHB/USO

That's 300 basis pts. That is a huge move in case anyone is wondering. LOL. When you have market neutral spreads, anything between 50 to 100 bp is a pretty solid winner. Three hundred is off the chart.

How do you trade this play (especially in ToS)? This thread is interesting but I'm still pretty far from confidently wrapping my head around it.
