The ACD Method

Just short everything, buy the dead cat on Mon/Tues. The SPX lost the 50 day MA yesterday and is about to rekiss it's 50 day MA @ 1226, 1227 (SPX now 1225?) any friggin second now which is a chance to reshort. More blood in the streets and then a rip your face off Xmas rally comes later next week imo!

(satchel has spoken, live call only has good as the 50 day behaves today)

call at SPX 1226/7 and now spx 1219.39 lock and load.

Satchel, can you take your ES calls to the ES thread. I want to keep this thread on topic. Please, this goes for everyone, if you are going to call out trades, please make them ACD related. Otherwise this thread is going to fall apart. Thanks guys.
 
No worries Mav, you have a great thread, I keep my calls to the ES thread - just happened to see something that was going to get tested hard SPX and rinse. Key turn.

I miss the old chat room days, with macal, riskarb, even stock7 and nitro, etc. and the other usual suspects.

In the past, I used to wait for A down or A up confirmation to initiate a trade. I will miss a lot with 45 minutes OR. Then a great Trader showed me ways to short ahead of A down confirmation. Basically, when a box level gets broken.

95 gets broken. price goes to 94.70 , bounces back to 95.20.

I shorted 95.18 with a stop loss at 95.52. took 20 minutes and price hit 94.20. Covered most at 94.34 and now we have A down confirmation per my OR.

Shorter time frame OR traders like 5 minutes etc.. had A down a lot earlier.

Box level solved the problem of 45 minutes OR.
