The ACD Method

I'm almost embarrassed to say this, but NQ was bouncing off my Quarterly A Up levels before the pullback. I appreciate not everyone had that level, but I did and it worked. Don't have the chart as I'm on mobile but I think it bounced 2 or 3 times before plunging.

As Mav says in effect, ACD is what you make of it. Guess that's why it doesn't work for everyone.

Robert, I want you to know I've always appreciated your analyses and data. We don't have a like button here, and I don't post just for the sake of posting, but please don't stop. This is ET, if anyone thought you were a waste of time you would have been told long ago.

Nat gas - Weekly Up, and NL is getting interesting. ES at Quarterly and Weekly Down - right on the edge. Wish my trading abilities were able to fully take advantage of all these ACD lines and signals ...

that's the beauty of the number line. it helps you eliminate the noise
 
On stocks I have better results. Right now on futures - I am not picking stops well .. and quite often get stopped and then it runs overnight ... I find my direction is correct.
Any one have suggestions for reading on futures trading - sizing stops etc. that people have found useful ?

Whenever I get confused, I draw 30 lines on a chart, close my eyes and pick one....that's the one! :)

Seriously, it's so obvious isn't it?
