The House is a good example. So many bills are passed 218-0. When the house passes a bill like that they have no intention of going to conference and compromising. It really just becomes a press release
I would like to see a rule that any bill from the House needs at least one vote from the other side to go to the senate

No, not good. The role of media isn't to push a nationalistic political agenda, that's the job of propagandists. Journalists are to report on facts, and the facts are to Springer's chagrin that Brexit happened, other forms of government/economic systems exist (and work) around the world, and Israel runs a quasi-ethno state that is indiscriminate in their bombardment of Palestinian open air prisons
