Most early users lost it at Mt. Gox. Most new users were coming on in the 2016-17 rally so they got stuck with a sideways movement of 5 years... Because nobody sold at 60+K... Because Moon... Because Uranus. :)

Don't include 2016 in that argument because that goes against your narrative, btc was below $1,000 in 2016

And for most of 2017, btc was below $10K

Venezuela adopted BTC as magic solution to survive, one year ago. Result is that they are very close to a bankruptcy today. Just 1 year of BTC was enough to financially destroy the country. I don't think they will still build "bitcoincity" as they announced 1 year ago. They lost so much money that they have even not enough to cover the basic needs of their population.

Far worse than US treasuries.
 
I have not kept up to date on most crypto 'guru's like Andrei Jikh for many, many months. Decided to take a peek at his later vids tonight. He does have some interesting re-caps on the economy... and of course he is embarrassed over endorsing BlockFi. Seems he is really beat down AGAIN from crypto.

Funny thing, I remember him claiming BTC would be 100K this year... and that was after he admitted he was wrong about expecting BTC to be 100K last year. :D

People need to stop paying attention to Cathy Wood like she is some sort of God. I never understood that.
