It's not like football where there are points. In my opinion it's basically a draw. No one changed the way they are voting because of the debate. They both scored points with the undecided I'd guess.
 
Hannity calls it a 'Rocy Mountain Beatdown.' Looking for Lehrer to help him out which he tried a couple times to no avail.

The panel of people 13 voted for Obama in 2008 and 11 voted for McCain. Most made up their mind for Romney after tonight.
 
Gracious and presidential? We are not voting for the first lady here.
We want someone to kick ass and take names later.
 
Wow, even the Democratic Underground isn't hardly talking about the debate, which means they think The One lost it as well.

I thought Romny won, but not by so much as to overwhelm the bias of viewers from the other side. Guess I overcompensated for my own bias.
 
I'm listening to the CNN commentary, they make a great point.

For months the Obama campaign has been painting Romney as a baby killing monster who will throw grandma out in the snow. That man didn't show up and the voting public got a different perspective and that can swing things a bunch.
 
Charles Krauthammer thinks the debate may be good for a couple points in the polls for Romney but says this may be enough to get things moving his way.

Remember, Romney has been holding his advertising until after this debate so we'll see a lot more agressive spending from here on out.

While I agree with you about the great majority of current federal programs, the reality is most Americans grew up with increasing govt interference in their lives and accept it. It is sad to say but the reason Romney won easily is he appeared stronger, more dominant.. he was the one with conviction behind his words. If you didn't speak english and watched this you would KNOW that Romney kicked obama's ass.

I am sure his substance (what really matters) was more accurate, and far more agreeable to me, but I don't believe all of his answers. However, he pulled off every point he pushed and imo, embarrassed obama.

Yep, now Romney has drawn first blood. He needs to keep bringing it, lobbing grenades, mortar rounds, heavy machine gun fire, etc., He has two more "re matches" and MUST be ON like he was tonight! He does that, and we have a real President Romney. Ooh rah!
