The problem is that people with no knowledge or experience come in here to conflate rolling/wheel BS with edge. It's sacrilege. I don't go to my lawyer/doctor and tell him how to do his job.

It's always these Y1 noobs who read some retail vol-book and thinks they invented the wheel (no pun).

If they had any skill whatsoever they would quickly move beyond CC/SP.

Martingales don't work. Spreads/combos are tools. Structuring (save exceptions) is not an edge, but anyone with any experience can recommend a better expectancy than a CC.

Anyone with any reasonable sophistication or skill at trading vol would not run a CC-portfolio. Don't defend idiocy.
