Thanks for screwing over my healthcare Obama

Yesterday was the start of open enrollment at my company. Formerly we had a 100% plan with minimal deductibles. For 2015 the rates have gone up 40%, and our best plan is a 80% plan with significant deductibles that must be met.

According to our company, all of this is due to Obamacare hitting the corporate market place for the first time in 2015. Basically I am paying 40% more for much worse health insurance.

Fortunately they made the decision to allow open enrollment to start before election day so everyone can see how badly they are getting screwed. I expect a good number of corporate employees are having the same experience this week - because this is the traditional start week of open enrollment, and many companies decided not to listen to the White House demand to delay open enrollment beyond election day.

Thanks for screwing over my good health insurance, Mr. President.

Wealth Redistribution, you see. Doesn't it make you feel all warm and fuzzy?

:)

my plan went up about 350 dollars a month. I have not needed to use it yet so I not sure if its been nerfed.

 huh?

Don't you think you'd better learn about your plan before you have to use it?

Its about a thousand dollars a month and big deductible.
I wind up paying out of pocket for most of the things my kids need anyway.
To me its a like a catastrophic plan but with the benefit of getting reasonable charges from the doctors when we visit the doctor.
