DALLAS — At least five Dallas police officers were killed and seven others wounded Thursday evening as a protest over recent police shootings was interrupted by chaos. The Dallas police chief said an attacker told authorities “he was upset about the recent police shootings” and “wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.”

Oh great .... AG Loretta Lynch is about to speak in a half hour.

I guess she will spew the administration's normal nonsense about gun control while ignoring the officials in Texas who are calling this a hate crime.

I predict the FBI and Justice Department will be baffled as to his motivation.

Hate crime? Don't be ridiculous, he shot white cops.

Im traveling on business in Plano Tx , suburb of Dallas. Watched the Chief of Police speaking with the Mayor on local TV. The Chief read part of a conversation they had with the one suspect they took out when negotiations for his surrender broke down last night.

The Chief, quoting the killer, hated white people and cops and wanted to kill as many white cops as he could.

Sad sad day.

The president finds himself in a difficult position. Some of that is due to partisan politics, but the overwhelming majority of the fault falls squarely in his own lap. He has bungled this issue of race relations and police interaction going all the way back to the Trayvon Martin incident. He started off with the wrong response to that, compounded the problem by surrounding himself with well known and proven race baiters like Al Sharpton, and neck deep in a corrupt and racially motivated justice department. Now, no matter what he says, the hole is already dug and he will not be able to dig himself out of that. Worse, he will not be able to lead the nation out of this hole. Worst of all, the two candidates for president do not even remotely approach the type leader who would be able to heal the nation. This only gets worse from here regardless of who is the next president. Failed policies from decades past and a history of terrible leadership is coming home to roost. It ain't gonna' be pretty.

To be fair after seeing this, I actually think that AG Loretta Lynch did a fairly decent job in the her presentation today. She only slipped gun control into one sentence, and focused most of her comments on the need for people to come together.

Fair enough, but what does that mean, a moment of prayer?

Yep! Hit n Run job, he's already checked out, thinking about how much he will make on the speaking circuit...same as the last 2 boondoggle presidents.
