You did say somewhere in your 6000 posts that the market should be trading at 11500 or something close to that number. I remember it distinctly because Landis, Makloda, and myself responded to it. For some reason I can't get the search function to find it but I can assure you I will.
Here you go. The dow was at 11,800 and you said it SHOULD be down 3% more than that.

Yeah.
I seem to remember that on Monday of this week he was totally SHOCKED that the Dow held-up as well as it did given that Bear Stearns needed "help".
The guy then spent the next 3 days posting 40 times a day "rationalizing" why the market "could have, should have, would have" opened a LOT LOWER on Monday and like a "deer caught in headlights" was PARALYZED and couldn't get himself to pull the "trigger" on the buy-side.
Another "kid" playing on the Internet.
Either that, or Baron is "paying" him per post.
At least he made NEW HIGHS on ET and broke the 6000 post count this week!
That's got to be worth a cheeseburger or something.

He is not the only one. I wonder if makloda emrglobal and s2007s still stand by their targets. There is a good chance we will get there, but do you guys maitain your targets at this juncture?

If we open down as the futures indicate, my target of 11500 will be broken. This lends it self to a possible capitualtion run over a few weeks to bring us close to the 911 lows.
If this is the case, I will buy the shit out of the market and never look back.
However, i think that we will sell hard in the am and rally near break even before close.
Just a hunch.

thats of course if the federal reserve doesnt step in everytime the damn dow drops 200 points and nears a bottom....
