Madison, that article is fantastic.
However, I should point out that if Gore had been selected president, the only reason we'd be better off, is that the Republican congress would have restrained his sorry ass. Under a Dem president + Dem congress I believe we'd be even closer than we are now to Orwell's worst night nightmare.
