TFMS Toni's Journal

Brandon suggested I start a thread here as opposed to in resources where someone started a thread on our track record (http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14576&perpage=6&pagenumber=1), so here it is. I'll be leaving for Europe on March 31st (France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg on vacation.. what timing huh?) so will run this thread until then and if folks like it I'll continue when I get back.

Since I'm rather busy during the day with our business I'm not overly active as we spend a lot of time focusing on education. I'm also very conservative.

Since March's posts so far were on another thread, I will just post the links to the charts for those wanting to catch up. Exits are typically in blue except on the 4th when they are EOD on FISV and red resistance in futs:

1) March 3- http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14576&perpage=6&pagenumber=1

Futs - This was an early morning breakout... very nice move.. exited prior to 10:00 numbers

2) March 3- http://www.tradingfrommainstreet.com/img/roomexamples/20030303reversal.gif

Futs - Mid-day reversal to correct from the morning trend move.

3) March 4- http://www.tradingfrommainstreet.com/img/roomexamples/20030304FISVtriangle.gif

FISV - Triangle breakdown... was not happy with this as it didn't feel right once I was in it. Held the stop and ended up getting out slightly on the positive side at the end of the day.

4) March 4- http://www.tradingfrommainstreet.com/img/roomexamples/20030304ESphoenix.gif

Futs - reversal based on very shallow phoenix.. hit target

5) March 5- http://www.tradingfrommainstreet.com/img/roomexamples/20030305NQtriangle.gif

Futs - triangle breakout.. resistance and target was previous high level

6) March 5- http://www.tradingfrommainstreet.com/img/roomexamples/20030305KMBbreakout.gif

KMB phoenix breakout on 15 minute... closed end of day

7) March 5- http://www.tradingfrommainstreet.com/img/roomexamples/20030305ESphoenixbo.gif

Futs - Phoenix... lacked much follow through.. moderate gains

8) March 6- http://www.tradingfrommainstreet.com/img/roomexamples/20030306SPreversal.gif

Futs - mid-day reversal.. hit target .. timed exit perfectly.

None on March 7 because of the significant amount of news driving the market.

WRAPUP -
very nice stocks day.. still not sure what i think about trading the mini-dow much though... while it had the best relative strength today for the mid-day breakout it has more slippage than I would like... need to make sure to stick to larger time frame setups in it to make up for that

ok.. off to catch zome zzzs *yawn*
