Its not like Nancy Pelosi has shown the entire world what kind of snarky half-witted liberal traitors are produced by that part of California. And I'm sure everyone admires a state that repetitively elects Barbara Boxer too. Maybe the entire country can adopt the inane policies of Jerry Moonbeam Brown and we can all go "down the tubes" together.

Personally speaking, I sincerely hope for a 9.5 magnitude earthquake along the entire length of the San Andreas fault so that the most severely marxist-leftist portions of California slide beneath the Pacific, public employee pensions, teachers unions and all the rest.

I'm very happy to see California become insolvent while Texas prospers. Poetic justice.

I'm not for Pelosi. I'm actually an independent that has drifted to the left since Bush Jr. You can thank Bush Jr. for getting Obama elected. That's one thing you can blame on Bush Jr. One thing I can't stand about the GOPs nowadays so how much they try to push abortion onto everything all under the guise of religion. Got news for you, Jesus was a liberal, not a GOPper. Jesus never spoke up about abortion either. If it was so important to God and Jesus, he would've mentioned it. He talked about helping the poor and less fortunate. Something that Romney need not concerned about and much of the elite GOPs don't care about but claim to be Christians. LOL

You are a typical Southerner. Culturally still angry at the FED government over state's rights. First slavery and then them moving in on the civil rights issues of the 60's. Still want state's rights over FED. Yep.. didn't we have that war a while ago? The north will always beats the south. I can see it in your rants. All I can say is that the recent crop of GOPpers are at least the most entertaining group I've seen on TV since football sunday. I was entertained by Gov. Ricky, Herman Cain, Bachmann. I'm still entertained by who is in there now. I'm entertained by Romney talking like a geek and mentioning being in a state as a kid when he wasn't even born yet. LOL. Not sure if they were auditioning for Comedy Central or President.

Funny how Gov. Ricky was so anti-abortion that he ranted about China having abortions. No one in China cares about abortions when you are in a country with over a billion people like China and India and with fewer resources, you don't care if there was one less kid born. Typical, Ricky wants to push his views onto others (mandatory ultrasounds) but don't want FEDs pushing theirs onto him.

Your democratic party in CA has run that state into the ground. All the money is leaving that state. If you stay behind, you better get your wallet ready for higher taxes. Of course, I suspect you pay little to no taxes now with your SSI income.

Never taken SSI or unemployment checks in my life. You GOPs generalize too much. Just endless ranting about the FED and Obama.. yeah more of the same. I know of specific people whom those programs have helped get on their feet. I knew a guy that got laid off from a job and it took him another year before he got one. Yeah he took unemployment and food stamps for a while just to get by. He eventually got a job and never was lazy about trying to find one. He hated getting those things but had no choice. Not everyone is lazy like you claim. Not everyone takes advantage of the system because the money you get is very little.

Funny that GOPs obsess about abortion yet it doesn't occur to them that most of the people that want them are poor and can't take care of the kid. Of course, force them to have the kid and take away government programs to assist them.

Of course, there's people that do abuse those programs. There just needs to be enforcement to make sure people don't abuse them.

Let's not forget, Texas has a debt too. Yeah Gov. Ricky happy take those stimulus dollars. LOL.. Raving about minimum wage jobs and government jobs created in Texas. Hmm

Still upset over the North winning the war I see. Yep taxes are just an extention of government that the South hates. If you want to understand why government has a role in helping the economy and its citizens, go read about Hoover & the Great Depression. How it got so bad and Hoover didn't do anything about it. The bible is very vague about life begins at conception. That's all it says. Yeah, life of cells that are dividing. Those cells are alive. That's it.

Don't you find it odd that the bible mentions directly of issues such as greed, adultery, etc? Yet, it is so common that people today don't talk about it. Those on the right only care to force some agenda about a vague topic in the bible? Think about it.

Hmm.. You want to make laws based on bible? Why not outlaw adultery? Well, no one mentions that? But the bible does.

I just got back from my accountant for tax prepration. My effective state tax rate is 6.1% so I've basically got it beaten by having business expenses and a jumbo mortgage. Given the fact that Prop-13 will remain in effect I'm simply not going to pay much into the Pelosi/Boxer/Brown folly that is California.
