1. It was clear you were confused and did not understand the meaning of the word "theory" in the Scientific lexicon. Your distinction between scientific theory while common stated is specious.

From your article..
"Successfully proven hypotheses can lead to either scientific theories or scientific laws, which are similar in character but are not synonymous terms."
"Both scientific laws and theories are considered scientific fact.
However, theories and laws can be disproven when new evidence emerges."

Finally... a note about how you argue. While you remain civil on the surface, you frequently ignore facts and data which cave in your viewpoint or theory. That is not really a civil way to discuss or argue... and its not useful for growth.
I told you about experiments showing that atomic clocks speed up as planes fly faster. This is one of the proofs for the Theory of Relativity. .
Yet... it did not make a dent in your argument... you did not try to explain it or make an exception.
This lack of taking in the other sides argument is not critical thinking.
Its low level argumentation.
This is why you frequently say we have to agree to disagree.

Laws are held in a higher regard than theories. Simply,
Laws have been proven.
Theories have not been disproven.
There is a difference, that's why we use the word Law, for some; and Theory for others.
Many, like you, misspeak and say that Theories have been proven. If and when a theory has, in fact, been proven; it becomes a law.
