Texas Tells Feds To Shove Their Light Bulb Ban

Quote from Texas:

maybe so

maybe so

but guess what

I still don't want to be ordered which bulb to buy, I want freedom to choose my own bulb

When revolution starts my dear ricter, I wouldn't be so vocal about being a government/globalist apologist, if I were you

Agreed! We're tired of the government telling us what to do every minute of the day! The Pilgrims left england in the 1600's for the EXACT kind of shit the US is now doing...

God bless Texas!

Well in their defense, it maybe because those same politicians keep getting re-elected by people obviously too dumb to make informed choices. :D :(

:) :D :p

I've always liked the undemocratic idea that only property owners should be allowed to vote; at least that weeds out some of the truly dumb.

Agree, but it should be only owners of property worth more than $2 million.

I think everyone should have the right to vote. But some voters should only get a half vote. Property ownership is a good guide.

Agreed completely! Now can you only imagine what would have happened during the 2008 "Presidential" race if only property owners were allowed to vote? WOW!!!!!!! The "inner city" folks who don't work, never will work, live in govt housing, etc., and are a drain on the taxpayer would become a drain for law enforcement: they would be rioting in the streets, stealing, murdering and raping as they only vote one way, and they don't use their brains to do it.

Running with seneca's excellent idea... I don't think a new voter eligibility law, restricting the vote to only those who own paid-off property worth $2 million or more, should include those who merely inherited such a property... or should it?

Quote from BSAM:

...SOS year after year.

As a way to break out of that, I think seneca's idea merits consideration.

Don't you think conditions in the US would be better? If:

Only those persons can vote who own property worth $2 million or more, free of debt and encumbrance, and not having been inherited.

Don't the rich already run the country? So, how would this be changing the system?
