it matters zilch if diesel produces little monoxide. Every gaseous byproduct that is not O2 is poisonous and induces hypoxia in high enough concentrations.

The diesel, gasoline stuff is I think from a 1970s conspiracy book? The Germans had to make their own fuel gasoline or benzine from lignite coal, their planes and tanks ran on it. They had some oil supply from Romania but its a main reason they attacked Russia to get oil (and who did have diesel tanks of memory serves). I Have to verify but the German armoured vehicles I recall didn't operate on diesel. Maybe the first panzer. What they produced of diesel was probably consumed more by ships and subs. Conjecture there. They maybe have been adapting engines near the end to burn anything they could but.. Need to research that.
Plenty of carbon monoxide anyway even if they did use diesel to kill hundreds of people crammed into a tight space. Whoever came up with that old idea that diesel exhaust is harmless so the mobile killing vans or camp 'showers' can't have happened is a crackpot. Big tank engines running gasoline could be mistaken for diesel by anyone without expertise I expect. Less from diesel is not none and it takes very little carbon monoxide.
As far as why do it this way, seems pretty efficient to me and I know the Jews they used to keep it running were killed periodically but some escaped and the last batch survived. Can't recall the very long German word for them. I recall reading one group did try and rebel but got their asses handed to them.
The people who brought us the big book of Jewish fairy tails may have been hoisted by their own petard with the big lie stuff but there is too much evidence despite a very meticulous reich cover-up, that it happened.

I see your education is lacking. Diesel engines produce very little CO. Might have as well overfed the prisoners and wait for the heart attack to occur. It's about as plausible.

It's possible but the cases are so few and data is lacking. It's one of the hardest and most nonsensical ways to kill prisoners. The most plausible reasoning is that it was attempted probably as an experiment and failed.
In all seriousness, simply burning wood (which was cheaper and readily available) and directing the chimney to the "chambers" would have been better.
Even if diesel was used, which I am sure it was not and just a conspiracy red herring, this is unfortunately poorly researched by the conspiracy guys.
A rich running big diesel would produce more than enough carbon monoxide, its will also produce plenty of suffocating gases. You need a couple of hundred PPM is all. That's without considering any other minor tinkering.
The mobile "gas vans" predated the camp gas chambers and used on more than Jews by Nazis. They were reinvented by the Soviets during the purge as well and that needs to be considered/completely ignored to keep this conspiracy theory afloat.
The gas van idea was to spare the sondercommandos (assuming spelling is close) etc. from what we now call PTSD due to killing women and kids. People go in, bodies come out at the buriel sites, efficient as well. The Nazis considered themselves civilized in their twisted way, their aim was a quick falling to sleep death. They missed that mark a lot I'm sure.
The basis of that old conspiracy is so unable to bear the slightest scrutiny its up there with 9/11 stuff like jet fuel fire won't melt steel (it will however make it very weak) and the buildings were in free fall (despite debris free falling faster in the same video clips).
I'd reconsider it a bit. Do we throw out the "T4" euthanasia program as well?

I guess these are fake pictures and fake documentation. Note the one with the stats mentions at the bottom that the Nazis burned some of the records before the U.S. troops arrived. Gee I wonder why they burned some? Could it be documentation of atrocities? These are from the regimental history of the 157th infantry.

They look like disease victims. With that said, the Germans had an obligation to provide sanitation and medical care. Harder to die that way than by a bullet.

The issue in Jedwabne is whether the local Poles or Germans were primarily responsible, not if it happened. It means a lot to people in Poland.
