don't confuse voter id with the kind of crap they are pulling in Ohio and North Carolina. No thinking person should have a problem with voter id. You need it for Social Security, food stamps, welfare. If you don't have a driver's license, two utility bills in your name with your address will qualify. Shouldn't be a problem.
But in Ohio, they are closing voting booths that have previously been open on Sunday, because blacks often go to church, and they have a bus which drives them to the polling place.
In North Carolina they have closed polling locations in Black liberal neighborhoods.
Jimmy Carter said his motivation to run was when the winner in his district won by a margin of victory more than all registered voters in his district. So don't tell me voter fraud does not exist. Voter ID seems to be a pretty common sense requirement to vote. You need it to buy beer, use a credit card. No doubt the law is intended to disqualify poor liberal democrat voters, but they need to get with the program.
But this other crap in Ohio is a disgrace and outright racism against blacks who they (the elite democrats and racist republicans who think all blacks are the same) think always vote democrat.

This Justice Departement suit is an outrage, another example of this administration misusing the government for poltiical purposes.
Have we heard any national republican leaders decrying it? Nope, quiet as church mice. In fact, a lot of moderate republicans are all for reinstituting the unconstitutional provisions of the Voting Rights Act, provided they only apply to southern states.
There is nothing in the Constitution that authorizes the Justice Department to run the affairs of any state. Any law giving them that authority is clealry unconstitutional, no matter how much the race hustlers and media think otherwise.
My point is, the republicans could combat this through the Justice Department's budget. That would require them to have some backbone however, so forget it.

I'm not losing any sleep over those changes. Obama and the democrats attack us daily. They misuse the criminal law to try to destroy republican officeholders,and you are upset about changing a few polling places? There's no constitutional requirement to make voting extremely convenient for minorities.
Like one old pol said, politics ain't beanbag. It's about time for republicans to wake up and start fighting back.
Who no doubt would simply have some of the spineless dopes just "disappear". I'd be OK with that.
Sometimes that's what it takes.
