I have been doing lots of reading on system design testing etc. I thought it best to try to learn as much as possible about Money Management, etc while I work on getting sufficient capital to start an account.
My question is is there a way to test/modify Tradestation code without having an account open? So that I could paper trade for a year or so? I do realize paper trading is not the same thing as real trading but trying to find a cheap option so that I can get my feet wet while I raise money.
Maybe my best bet would be to buy amibroker and get a data feed?
Any suggestions would be very much apreciated.
