If you code a trading system from ground up alone then community is 0...
Buy you will have better overview and understanding of the system than anyone else.

From other perspective it can take enormous time and for simpler algo it may be best to use ready made platform.

Another option is SigmaTrader (formerly AlgoTerminal) which is what I use for my own trading. The new version has support python in addition to C#. Might be worth checking out.

Ah yeah, I've intended to look into AlgoTerminal as well since it looked very nice on a cursory view, thanks for the heads up about the name change.
