How do you delete either a post or a thread? Shouldn't that be an option under Thread Tools? lol.

It's allowed but the delete link only appears within the first 60 minutes of submitting a post.

I looked under Thread Tools within just a minute or two after I opened this thread, and it wasn't an option. Let me see if I can delete this post. Oh yes, I can delete this post. Just couldn't delete this thread within a minute of starting the thread.

The first post of a thread is an exception to the rule. We don't allow a member to delete his post if it's the first one in a thread because the disappearance of that post would remove the entire premise of the thread.
