Tesla 2020

It is getting harder and harder to get up early and keep going in for the day job...

That would depend on how many Tsla shares you own, I suppose. I'm lucky enough I don't have to go to a day job, provided I continue to do well enough trading...

Here ye here ye,

It has come to my attention that Tesla, if it generates a profit this quarter, can qualify for sp500 inclusion. I’ve never really paid attention to that kind of crap having watched red hat join and not do much with price over the next month.

someone was so kind to point out to me that what needs to be paid attention to is what happens after the earnings report that allowed the company to qualify. Similar such people also suggest that due to such a large market cap, 60B worth of Tesla would need to be purchased by big players. 60B???

wonder what that would do to price?

examples I had been looking at near the inclusion date saw 50% up moves after qualifying earnings...

I’m guessing nobody made a trade?

Well...the market cap has gone up well over $60 billion in the last week and almost $30B traded hands today in the stock...

Why the Many Are Smarter Than the Few and How Collective Wisdom Shapes Business, Economies, Societies and Nations, published in 2004, is a book written by James Surowiecki about the aggregation of information in groups, resulting in decisions that, he argues, are often better than could have been made by any single member of the group.

Ah...so that's why 90% of traders make money and only 10% lose....oh wait...
