Terrorism. Is there anything to be done ?

So his opinion is that arms are needed to protect the US against Islamic terrorism, even if that will cause almost 10,000 death Americans (roughly three times the total number of people killed in 9/11) every year, over and over again.

Sigh...here we go again. Two points. One, we already have millions of guns in circulation, so that genie is out of the bottle. Banning or severely restricting possession assures that mainly criminals will have them, a situation most Americans are not willing to accept. Two, if you adjust for demographics, ie race, our statistics are comparable to most other western countries. Thousands of people are not getting killed by guns in most places. A few hellholes like Chicago, Bltimore, philly, Detroit etc skew the averages.

LOL, the video was actually pretty funny.

It started with this posting from you:"So it's Trump's fault that there are attacks in the UK now?"

As you mentioned Trump I wanted to show the stupidity of his tweet (that I added) about guns, knives and trucks. And so on...

My point was that Trump tries to find arguments for his opinion about guns in the US, but in a very stupid way. He is pointing at Islamic terrorisme in Europe but "forgets" that in the US more people get shot and killed then Islamic terrorist can kill in Europe. So his opinion is that arms are needed to protect the US against Islamic terrorism, even if that will cause almost 10,000 death Americans (roughly three times the total number of people killed in 9/11) every year, over and over again.

So better to continue and kill thousands of innocent people every year instead of trying to get weapons of the street? All over the world people don't understand why all Americans need guns. Only for Americans it seems to be logical and evident.

Depending on what fits the story best people are or are not anymore Americans? In all countries all over the world there are the same things particularities about demographics, so that explanation is nonsense. The population is the population.

Your analysis about a few hellholes is not correct too. Watch the map in the following link:
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/firearm_mortality/firearm.htm

At this moment the biggest "terrorism" in the US is people living in the USA killing each other. Trump is the best, let him solve this problem.

What about COMPENSATION for the victims I hear you mutter ?

Er none that I know of except:-
The NHS bill for looking after the survivors - the taxpayer pays
The extra costs of policing - again the taxpayers cough up.
The funeral costs of the dead - their families fork out for that too.

It's a disgrace !
Largely the politician's fault going back to Blair letting them all in.

There is a terrible sickness in the muslim community and they should at least foot the bills !!

Rather than debate this with you, let me just say we are not particularly interested in what people "all over the world" think. We are the world leaders. Foreigners would do better to observe what we do and try to emulate us as closely as possible. No one is forcing any of you to come here, and frankly, we'd prefer that you don't.

We are the only industrialized nation whose government hasn't confiscated our arms and made us totally dependent on them for protection. Plus, we really like guns. It's a Western thing, you wouldn't understand. And don't let the industrialized part fool you. It's a Wild Western thing.
