My view, and it seems quite consistent with the standard definitions of "capitalism", is that what we call "corporatism" is just one of the ways capitalism manifests itself. In other words, corporatism is just a form of capitalism.

I'm starting to like the two party system. republicans vs democrats, socialists vs capitalists. There's not a dimes bit of diference between the two, but they argue all the way down the slippery slope, and instead of sliding down, we just kind of tumble around.
