Teflon Trump. Americans voted for the Country Ban. Polls won't give a shit. Watch.

Unfortunately, very likely we get another bad terrorist attack in the U.S. again and that should change the polls dramatically...or would it? If we had considerable casualties in this scenario, would the left calm down? Would the left on ET calm down? What would it take for the left to put national security first?

I wouldn't hold out any hope. When have they ever put national security first? Their automatic reaction after terror attacks is to worry about islamaphobia.

Many of them, like the obamas and hillary, have a visceral contempt and dislike for many of their countrymen.

Again, I'm just talking about Alex Jones.

Alex Jones is awesome.
He was very powerful in this election with millions of radio listeners.
His Hillary for prison and Bill is a rapist campaigns could have swung it for Trump.
Sometimes he goes overboard for entertainment purposes, his rants are legendary (like the one against Piers Morgan) and he often comes over as paranoid.
No one would listen to him if he wasn't so entertaining.
But his interview with Trump about a year ago shows he can be serious as well.
Also he has other regular guests like Ron Paul and Nigel Farage, who take him seriously enough to go on his show.

I fear this as well (thanks Trump). But to answer your question, it would undoubtedly solidify support for Trump. We went to war on Iraq because 'terrorists and WMD's' so I no longer underestimate fear and its power to take people objectivity from them.

I'm sure he was powerful in the election with millions of listeners. That doesn't mean he's correct or incorrect - just popular among the disenchanted (as many of us were during Obama). All I'm saying is when Howard Stern interviewed him, he (Alex) sounded as if he was coming unglued and - for lack of a better word - insane. I encourage you to listen to the interview. That was the first time I had ever heard him speak and I was less than impressed.

So, if I may, why do you thank Trump for this? Do you think an attack is more likely under Trump than it was under Obama? If so, I'd like to understand how you believe this is possible given that Trump is limiting the number of potential threats through immigration bans.
