What's interesting about this article on today's homepage of the MSN site is that it omits obvious information about the assailant. Without watching the video I had already guessed as to why the information was omitted.

Hi Icarus, I noticed that the article was about the family stopping the life support for the victim. So, I gave the news agency the benefit of the doubt, and thought that maybe they reported on the criminal in a previous story, closer to date of the incident. However, they did not offer much information, you can see in the articles here:

Regardless of his race, isn't it odd that there is no information at all about the criminal? Was he just having a bad day? Was he stressed out about not finding a parking spot? Did he have a vendetta against a bus driver previously?

When a report omits any and all information about the perpetrator, it's because the person hasn't been caught or identified. That wasn't the case here, so the omission is rather conspicuous and got me curious and to research further. As it turns out, the attacker of the 65-year-old man is a young black male with a criminal record, and I easily found the name and picture of the assailant from a smaller news source.

The media does this all the time in Toronto. Half the time, blacks are suspected in shootings or violent crime, and announcers, who read a description of the suspect, detail all known physical features....EXCEPT RACE (when it's a black or brown guy). Complete horseshit.
