Teenager who turned £2,000 into £21million in a year.

This seems to me complete nonsense:"I have been offered £59million for that software but I’m not selling."

First of all it is difficult to sell an automated system that worked only 1 year. For what I know trackrecords shorter than 5 years are not good enough for professional buyers. And amateurs cannot spend 59 million. So who made this offer? Santa Claus? Probably insane Claus.

Secondly these buyers would want to see all trades in full details. Nobody makes such an offer only because someone tells he made millions. Nobody makes an offer before seriously analyzing all the trades and the system. But there is no mention of buyers analyzing his trades, or negotiating a deal, he immediatelly refused the offer. They surely will not offer 59 million based on all they know, or better did not know.
Thirdly he made 6 million in 1 day, sitting on the beach, watching his phone?

Future will show us if it is true.
‘three-way bet’ system is not a miracle solution. If he loses three times he reverses his position
and he won’t continue to lose out? He can start three losing trades after he reversed his position too. Why is it sure he will not lose anymore after three losses and a reverse?

Is it not horrible to be on ET? We read every few weeks from boys who make millions but ET members are never in the news for their millions profit. Even making 100K is already impossible for most. Shouldn't we feel stupid if we compare us with these young supertraders?

Actually your right, ET are not been considered which is wrong.
This is just a reading article maybe made for entertainment or encouragement.
Anyway nice try SAM!!!!

Sure, anything's possible. If he used options that would make it much more attainable.

X 10 000 in one year?!
Nah, even with options, these numbers are impossible.
Just reread all Market Wizards, all geniuses never made that.
And a dyslexic guy with a mustach, a dumb face and a fake Cartier would do better?!
That s why this guy continue to go to Lidl ! He got no bucks in his trading account !
He hopes someone would buy 100 M pounds for his "system".

This is absolute DELUSION!

Manipulation in progress!
It is funny to see how some people take this for real while at the same time every more than average profitable trader on ET is bashed.
As ET member post they can make +100% returns is impossible but if a newspaper writes about 10 000% than it is possible?????????

If only it was +10 000%!
We speak of more than +1000 000% increase ! 10 000 times !
Indeed, (2000*(1+1000000%))= 20 002 000 !!!!! less than what this "genius" made !!!

If we do some math with this statement: 2000 to 21 million means an average return of 3.62537445% every day. (2000*(1+3.62537445%)^260)

Sounds not so terribly difficult? At least if the volume in the traded items is big enough to absorb the volume traded by this system, without moving the price too much.

But if the calculation is correct it means that nobody is able to make an average of 3.62537445% every day? Even not with the leverage used? With a leverage 10 you should only make 0.362537445% of the move every day?

If you want to double your account you should make 0.2668% a day. Seems almost nothing. But who can consistently double his account? With a leverage 10 you should only make 0.02668% of the move every day?

If you look at it this way it is confusing. Small returns and impossible for most traders to reach.

"Plymouth Herald".. i guess there is a reason why this story is not on The FT or The Guardian... "Investigative" journalism at its best...
